A 6 hour Embodiment Workshop for Women

Age, beauty and sensuality don't often go together in our society, but there is power and wisdom in embracing the changing female body. Connecting to ourselves in a sensual and playful way leaves us feeling more curious, confident and energetic. As we move into our 30s, 40s and beyond we can discover the importance of embodied movement practices and work towards changing the way we relate to ourselves.
In this two day workshop:
~ Learn movement and breathing practices to take care of your body through the transformation of aging.
~ Discover your boundaries and awaken your breasts and womb through, movement, touch, and felt sense.
~ Connect to other women through the medicine of Storytelling.

Day 1: Saturday, 3/6/21

Tools for maintaining bone, joint and pelvic floor health through movement, yoga and breathing practices.
Awakening the hands as a key practice to start developing our sense of touch and awareness of self and felt sense.
Surrendering to body changes, finding their beauty, and working with them.

Empowered self touch: Navigating boundaries and self expression
Breast Meditation: Learning how to love and cherish our breasts
Womb and Pelvic Practices: Moving from the pelvis and embracing the belly and power of the womb.

Moon Circle
A Moon Gathering or a Moon Lodge is a safe space for women to share stories, thoughts, experiences, sound. It is a place to be heard and held, and a place to listen and learn from other women. Traditional Moon Circles gathered every month during the new moon in a womb like protected sacred space. Each woman shared and while she talked no one else spoke until she passed the “Talking Stick” to the next woman and so on. The circle spins over and over until nothing is left to say and each woman feels complete. Keeping with tradition, we start with the youngest woman in the group and go in ascending order by age. This allows wisdom to flow in a cycle, as a reflection of the moon and our life cycle itself.
