Meditation and Mindfulness Workshop



In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month this May, you are invited to attend an online Mindfulness and Meditation Workshop on Sunday, May 19th at 7pm.

This class will include 10-15 minutes of gentle yoga that can be done in a chair or on a yoga mat. The movement portion will be followed by a breathing practice, and short concentration meditation. We’ll then transition into a journaling and interactive exercise working with the mindfulness practice of RAIN, conceptualized by meditation teachers Michele McDonald and Tara Brach. This practice is a useful tool for working with stress and anxiety while cultivating compassion. We will close with a Mindfulness meditation.
